This Week in Event (02/02-02/08)

Hey everybody. Meltdown was so awesome and exhausting, I completely forgot to put up the schedule for this week. Meltdown was a wonderful experience and our Wesley volunteers helped everything run smoothly.

Monday: Group Study at UWF Bldg 10 Rm 103 @5:30. Led by our director, Stuart, we will have a time of group study and discussion. Come join us as we eat home-made cookies and study together.

Wednesday: Discussion Group at UWF Commons @Noon. Join us as we share in fellowship and casual discussion. Sit in relax for a bit during your hectic school day and shoot the breeze., but feel free to come and go as you please.

Thursday: Bible Study at St. Luke UMC @6:30. We ware working our way through the Apostles' Creed and learning what that creed says about being a Christian. If you ever wanted to know why we what we say, come join us as Jeff leads. As always, dinner afterward.

Saturday: Worship at Cokesbury UMC @6:00. Share with us the praise of our Lord as we attend Cokesbury's Contemporary Worship Service, led by our own Rev. Stuart Worth. The Sermon series is about tough questions Christians have. As always dinner and fun afterward.


There will be a College Student Retreat in Panama City Beach from February 20-22. It is being put on by all the Wesley Fellowship in the Alabama-West Florida Conference, and we are going. The cost is free, but we need to know soon if anyone wants to come. Please let us know by Thursday the 12th if you want to come.

We also received our NEW WESLEY FELLOWSHIP SHIRTS. Please contact Kelley if you are interested in getting one.

Hey everyone. This week is gonna be different, so here we go.

Monday: UWF Bldg 10 Rm 103 @5:30. Tonight, we start our group study led by our director, Stuart. It is a new semester, so it is time to pick a new topic. Come join us as we eat home-made cookies and decide on our focus for the semester.

Wednesday: UWF Commons @Noon. Join us as we share in fellowship and casual discussion. Sit in relax for a bit during your hectic school day and shoot the breeze., but feel free to come and go as you please.

This Week in Events (01/18--01/24)

Hey all, another week with Wesley Fellowship. There will be no Monday nights events since UWF is closed.

Wednesday: Discussion Group at noon @ UWF Commons. Hang out and talk about whatever is going on. From religion to social issues to even movies and 80s cartoons, its a great chance to share and be in fellowship with one another.

Thursday: Bible Study at 6:30 @ St. Luke UMC. Jeff is leading us through the Apostles' Creed. Come find out what it means and why we say it. As always, dinner afterwards.

Saturday: Worship at Cokesbury UMC @ 6:00, then dinner and fun. If you are coming with us to Meltdown, we really want you to be there so we can all meet and get to know each other. Bowling is the plan after dinner, so be ready.

This Week in Events (11/9-11/15)

Hello all. We had another successful day serving the hungry at the Alfred Washburn Center. Thanks to all who volunteered.

Monday: THANKS-VETERANS-GIVING DAY COOKOUT! Since we all spend Thanksgiving with our families, we have an annual cookout on Veterans Day to celebrate together in fellowship. Paul is hosting us and we will have burgers, a bonfire, and we'll figure out another B word to keep the alliteration going.

Tuesday: Bible Study at St. Luke UMC @ 6:30. We are going through the "I AM" saying of Jesus. Join us and get some insight into His words. As always, dinner afterward.

Wednesday: Discussion Group at UWF Commons @ 12:00. Come get involved in a casual discussion about a wide range of topics. This week, we will start with Christianity and the Entertainment Industry and see where that takes us. Feel free to come and go, grab lunch, go early to class, whatever.

Saturday: Worship at Cokesbury UMC @ 6:00, then dinner and fun.

Just a Reminder...

...This Sunday we feed the homeless at the Alfred Washburn Center. Meet everyone at St. Luke UMC by 12:30 so we can ride together and serve the homeless at 1:00.

Also, our annual Thanks-Veterans-Giving Day Cookout will be on Monday @6:00 at Paul's house. Get ready for food, a bonfire, and some 4-wheelin'. Here is a link for directions to Paul's house.
